The Bodyworker's Muscle Reference Guide

This book is a masterpiece. It presents very good information about anatomy, physiology, and meridians. Pictures of muscles accompany descriptions. The author also includes information about elements and corresponding glands. Muscle locations are pointed out, which help the novice; however, the depth of the information will intrigue the more advanced massage therapist, physical therapist, certified athletic trainer, chiropractor, and nurse. Occupational therapists will likely find the book a great tool in preparing the client for return to work, and the return to normalcy.

This book is a significant contribution to the physical medicine field. Referred zones aid the trigger point therapist. The book is presented in an informative, interesting mode, and its accuracy is evident.

An index divides the muscles into the area of location in the body. The layout of the book is reader friendly, with illustrations included for each muscle. While the book is easy to follow, it has sufficient depth to aid all. I definitely recommend this book for every practitioner.
